It’s been quite a while. I’ve been busy with work and school. I’ve been on my diet, but i’ve been stuck on this plateau for weeks. I keep playing with these pounds. I bounce from 159lb to 160l or 161lbs. I’ve decided to make an effort and see how i can bust out of this plateau and change up what im doing.
I’ve been researching alot, and i have stumbled upon www.bodybuilding.com. After reading one of the transformation articles about a girl who was 235lbs and through diet and exercise managed to get down to 142lbs. I was amazed. Her body was perfect, and i would like something similar.
I started to read up about weight lifting and how it is more effectve than cardio to burn fat. I’ve also decided to start taking supplements to help give me an extra push. I’ve also decided to tweak my diet so that it would fit into something that would help lose fat and gain muscle (still following WW).
I started my NEW work out schedule last night which is going to be something like this:
I’ll do these weight lifting exercises all 3 sets of under 20 reps until failure (until i cant do it anymore).
(The blue days are the days that i will actually be at the gym.)
Monday - Shoulders and Triceps. ABS. HIIT for cardio
Tuesday – ABS
Wednesday - Biceps and Back and ABS HIIT for cardio
Thursday – ABS
Friday - Light Chest. ABS HIIT for cardio
Saturday - Legs. ABS.
HIIT – High intensity interval training
HIIT is a form of cardio which is beneficial to burning fat in a short and intense workout
I’ve done my research and it’s supposed to be x8 more effective than normal cardio.
It’s basically done like so,
Let’s say you choose an exercise like jumping rope, running (not on tredmil), Elliptical, or the stationary bike.
First you warm up for about 15 minutes going at a slow pace, and then just stretch out your muscles. After you are all warmed up and ready to go.. GO AS HARD AS YOU CAN FOR 30 SECONDS. When the 30 seconds are up slow down and rest for 90 seconds. That doesn’t mean stop moving, just slow down to a comfortable resting pace. Do this 6 times, and you’ll see. Toward the end you will be drenched in sweat. When i get off the bike my legs are usually wobbly! HIIT should only be done every other day. I also wouldn’t do HIIT on days you are working out your legs.

Reccommended usage:
